Our Therapists - Mothercore | Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Our Therapists

At Mothercore, all physiotherapists are fully qualified pelvic health specialists who meet the highest professional and ethical standards in the UK. Pelvic health physiotherapy is a specialist area of practice requiring additional postgraduate training beyond general physiotherapy. This ensures your therapist has advanced expertise in treating pelvic floor dysfunction across pregnancy, postpartum recovery, peri-menopause, menopause, and other life stages.

Regulated by the HCPC: your assurance of professional standards

Every Mothercore physiotherapist is registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), the UK’s independent statutory regulator for health professionals. HCPC registration is a legal requirement to practise as a physiotherapist in the UK.

This registration confirms your therapist has completed accredited education, meets nationally recognised standards of competence, and follows a strict code of professional conduct. The HCPC exists to protect the public, meaning your therapist is fully qualified, regulated, and professionally accountable.

You can verify any physiotherapist’s HCPC registration on the official HCPC public register.

Members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)

All Mothercore physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), the professional body for physiotherapists in the UK. The CSP sets standards for clinical practice, ethics, and ongoing professional development.

Membership demonstrates a commitment to evidence-based treatment, continuous learning, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. It also ensures your therapist remains up to date with the latest clinical research and best practices in pelvic health physiotherapy.

Fully insured and professionally accountable

All Mothercore physiotherapists are covered by professional liability insurance through the CSP or an equivalent insurer. This ensures your treatment is delivered within a fully governed and protected clinical framework, giving you additional reassurance and peace of mind.

Selected for expertise, empathy, and women’s health focus

Beyond formal qualifications, we carefully select therapists for qualities that are essential in pelvic health care: empathy, clinical experience, and a deep commitment to women’s health.

Pelvic floor symptoms can feel personal and sensitive. Our therapists are experienced in creating a supportive, respectful environment where you feel comfortable discussing your symptoms and confident in your treatment plan.

Female physiotherapists for your comfort

To make appointments as comfortable as possible, all Mothercore pelvic floor physiotherapists are female. This reflects the preferences of many women seeking pelvic health care and helps create an environment where you can speak openly and confidently about your recovery.

Care you can trust

Our goal is simple: to provide expert, evidence-based pelvic health physiotherapy delivered with professionalism, compassion, and respect — so you can feel confident in both your therapist and your recovery.
