Mothercore – Terms and Conditions of Use

By accessing or using the Mothercore platform  including booking a session or purchasing self-guided content — you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before continuing.

1. Overview of Services

Mothercore is a digital health platform connecting users with qualified women’s health physiotherapists and offering self-guided wellbeing programs. The platform provides:

  • Online 1:1 physiotherapy sessions
  • In-person physiotherapy sessions
  • Online group classes
  • Self-guided educational and exercise video content

 

Mothercore is not a regulated healthcare provider and does not deliver or supervise physiotherapy treatment. All therapeutic services are provided independently by self-employed, qualified professionals. Our role is to facilitate access to these professionals and provide general wellness content.

2. Emergency Use Disclaimer

Mothercore is not intended for use in emergencies or crisis situations.
If you are in danger or require urgent medical help, please call 999 (UK) or your local emergency services immediately.

3. Therapist Independence and Scope

All therapists on the Mothercore platform are independent professionals:

They operate under their own licensure, qualifications, and regulatory guidelines.

Mothercore does not supervise, direct, or control the conduct of therapists.

Therapists are responsible for delivering services within the scope of their own practice.

Therapists operate independently and are not employees or agents of Mothercore. Mothercore is not responsible for any clinical decisions or the professional conduct of individual therapists.

Mothercore cannot guarantee any outcome and is not liable for any loss, harm, or dissatisfaction from therapist interactions.

We encourage users to verify the therapist’s credentials before engaging in services.

4. Self-Guided Video Content

Mothercore offers self-guided programs focused on:

  • Pelvic floor strengthening
  • Pregnancy-safe workouts
  • Postnatal recovery
  • Perimenopause and post-menopause workouts
  • Educational modules

5. Eligibility

By using Mothercore, you confirm that you:

Are at least 18 years old

Can legally enter into a binding agreement

Are medically fit to participate in physiotherapy or exercise unless advised otherwise by a healthcare provider

6. Bookings, Subscriptions, and Cancellations

Bookings: Confirmed upon receipt of payment.

Self-Guided Content: Access is granted immediately post-payment and is non-refundable, unless legally required.

Subscriptions (if offered): Users will be clearly informed of recurring billing terms. It is your responsibility to manage renewals and cancellations.

Cancellation Policies: Session-specific policies will be clearly displayed. Late cancellations or no-shows may be non-refundable.

7. Platform Use and Conduct

Users agree to:

  • Behave respectfully toward therapists, class teachers, and other users
  • Not share, copy, or distribute any platform content without consent
  • Not misuse the platform in any unlawful or unethical way
  • Not use the platform if experiencing a medical emergency
  • Mothercore may suspend or terminate accounts for breach of these terms.

8. Therapist Listings and Vetting

Mothercore performs reasonable vetting of therapists but makes no guarantees regarding:

  • The effectiveness or suitability of any particular therapist
  • The accuracy or completeness of therapist profiles

Inclusion on the platform does not imply endorsement, accreditation, or regulatory oversight by Mothercore. You are responsible for verifying that the services offered are right for your needs.

9. Privacy and Data Use

Mothercore complies with UK GDPR:

  • We collect only the data necessary to provide our services.
  • We do not share personal health data with third parties for marketing purposes.

10. Intellectual Property

All materials—including videos, branding, written content, and documentation—are owned by Mothercore Ltd or its licensors.

You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

Use is limited to personal, non-commercial purposes.

11. No Warranties

Mothercore provides services and content “as is”:

  • We make no guarantees about outcomes, improvements, or results.
  • We are not responsible for the effectiveness of any program, session, or exercise.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Mothercore is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • This includes injuries, misdiagnoses, or outcomes resulting from therapist services or use of video content.
  • Mothercore is not liable for third-party payment failures, missed sessions, or service interruptions.

13. Modifications to Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.
You will be notified of significant changes. Continued use of the platform after updates implies acceptance of the revised Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.

15. Regulatory Status

Mothercore Ltd is not regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) or any other healthcare regulatory body. Our role is to facilitate access to independent physiotherapists and provide general wellness content. All therapists are individually responsible for compliance with their own professional regulatory requirements.
